Co. Cavan is home to a 3 square mile area called Magh Slecht. This small area has over 80 monuments of different types such as megalithic tombs, ring barrows, stone circles, standing stones, stone rows, crannogs, early-Christian church sites, early Christian Holy wells, and medieval castles.
